Rockefeller Capital Management Adds Alexandra Lebenthal to Strategic Advisory

Rockefeller Capital Management (Rockefeller) has announced the addition of Alexandra Lebenthal, a seasoned veteran with 39 years of experience in financial services, to its team as a Managing Director and Senior Banker. In her new role, she will focus on serving financial sponsors and women-led businesses.

Within Rockefeller Strategic Advisory, the firm’s investment banking arm, Lebenthal will lead initiatives aimed at engaging and supporting financial sponsor clients, as well as women-led and owned businesses. Her appointment strengthens Strategic Advisory's team of senior investment bankers and underscores Rockefeller's commitment to offering corporate and business advisory services to private and public companies, as well as businesses owned by clients of Rockefeller Global Family Office.

Gregory J. Fleming, President and CEO of Rockefeller Capital Management, expressed his excitement about Lebenthal joining the team, highlighting her extensive experience and mentorship in the industry. He emphasized her significant contributions and welcomed her aboard.

Lebenthal expressed her enthusiasm about joining Rockefeller and contributing to the firm's growth, noting its strong platform for providing advisory services to various companies and institutions. She sees significant opportunities to support the growth of established and emerging entrepreneurs and corporate leaders, particularly women in leadership roles.

Steve Valentino, Co-President of Rockefeller Strategic Advisory, emphasized the value of Lebenthal's extensive network and market insight, citing her expertise in M&A as a valuable asset to the firm's investment banking capabilities. He highlighted her ability to work with diverse clients, including financial sponsors and individuals served by Rockefeller Global Family Office.

Prior to joining Rockefeller, Lebenthal served as a Senior Advisor in the Financial Sponsors Group at Houlihan Lokey, where she spearheaded an initiative focused on advising women-led businesses. Before that, she was the CEO of Lebenthal Holdings, a financial services firm she founded in 2007 and led through various iterations until its sale to Advest and then Merrill Lynch. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her leadership and expertise by industry publications.

Lebenthal's appointment reflects Rockefeller's ongoing efforts to expand its Strategic Advisory division and enhance its capabilities in business advisory, financing, and transactions. Her addition to the team aligns with the firm's strategic focus on serving a diverse range of clients and industries.
